Applying for white goods
Funding white goods.
Please continue to ensure that clients use all resources available to them before you apply to us (savings, support from family etc). Taking that into account, decide what basic white goods the client needs before making the application. Please note that we will not consider awards relating to either “hoarding” or “pets”.
We have an agreement with our preferred supplier for white goods, RSM Domestic Appliances. The funding includes delivery, installation and removal of redundant appliances.
The client can have 1, 2 or 3 items from the list below including: a cooker (oven/grill or table top oven or microwave), a fridge or fridge freezer, and a washing machine.
o 50cm single cavity oven/grill freestanding electric cooker
o Table top electric oven
o 17l manual control microwave
o 7kg 1200 spin freestanding washing machine
o 48cm under counter freestanding fridge with ice box
o 50cm x 122cm high 50:50 freestanding fridge-freezer
When the grant is agreed this will be confirmed on the Grant Award letter with the grant reference number. A copy will be emailed to RSM.
You or the client must then contact RSM to confirm details such as address and delivery date, please quote the grant number.
Exceptions can be made e.g. a double cavity oven for families. Please make that request clear on the application form, or during any email discussions.
